Are you feeling prodded, shoved, pushed, pulled, nudged? You’re not alone! All these issues are involved in moving along with God. We can’t always hear but we can most always “feel”. I have good news for you. We are being “put upon” by our Heavenly Father in order to taking us somewhere and that gives being prodded, etc., a delightful perspective. We’re going somewhere and though there may be a few “providential bruises” along the way, you’ll really like it when we get there.
“. . . til we all come in the unity of the faith and
in the knowledge of the Son of God
and become mature
unto the measure of the stature of Christ
(Ephesians 4:13)”.
Wow! That’s where we’re headed. The trip may be rough but the destination will be royal. Take heart, Dear Saint. The sweat and struggle of the journey will soon be forgotten in the beautiful blaze of glory that will be revealed in us. Feel the knots, view the scars, celebrate the pain . . . then go happily on!
Think about it. Much!
Hello Brother Taylor,
It's been some time but was lead to click on you this morning. I know the recent elections caught many Christians by surprise, frankly I was totally expecting a "Shake-up". I have been sent to talk with many Black/African American churches here in Atlanta and surrounding areas, the message, "Lay it down, it is one body" the white people do LOVE the black people. The facts, they came here as slaves and were set free by blood not of their own. They have an inheritance here in the US, paid for by blood of white men, European men, Italian, Irish, German, and the host that made up the United Sates such as it was in the late 1800’s.. However the divide is more than attitudes and passes racism and breeds hatred. ( I do not ignore the racism and injustice, the hangings, the violence, but I do see where the nation as a whole is what/who stopped all the NOT Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson; this trail has blood all over it and it has been shed by many peoples.)
The root, a lie, the answer the truth, actuality the lie tastes better to some. Now that we have an African American President elect, I believe we can now see some healing in the body of Christ. The shaking gives us a common goal, something greater than ourselves and outside of any one people group. The result of the election brought so many to tears, some to a realization of acceptance and wholeness others to fear what may happen. I believe the result of healing and acceptance is so awesome that I can only smile. These times are truly wonderful and can only bring us back to a place of unity and faith.
Now the fun part; what can we do now in conjunction with our African American brothers and sisters as one? What gifts are hidden for this time and season, who has the keys?
The times are a sign the cloud is moving and this surly is a call to the church to let go of religion and grab hold of faith/love. I appreciate your messages and your love.
May God richly bless you with all wisdom and understanding, we so need our watchmen.

Greetings Jack, I still hold you in high regard in my heart as my spiritual father. I enjoy reading your blog. I always get what I have come to expect as a fresh perspective that speaks to where I am.
I am so grateful for the time you took with our son Paul at Ridgecrest several years ago. Things you spoke then are still relevant as a guide for his destiny. He speaks of you often. He indeed is radical. He is still at the same church, is going to India in Jan. Pray for him as the Lord leads and as your knowledge of this kind of ministry.
Have a blessed Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday.
